Hengyi Industries Holds 9th Blood Donation Drive and Pop-Up Market to Support Community and Local Businesses

30 June 2026, Hengyi Industries Main Office Building, Pulau Muara Besar Industrial Park – Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd (Hengyi Industries) successfully organised its 9th Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with RIPAS Hospital's Blood Donation Centre, alongside a Pop-Up Market featuring eight (8) local vendors. The event brought together employees and the local community in a shared effort to promote community well-being and create opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

Held as part of Hengyi Industries' ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts, the Blood Donation Drive encouraged employees to contribute towards strengthening Brunei Darussalam's national blood supply. A total of sixty-eight (68) Hengyi Industries’ employees participated in the initiative, contributing sixty-eight (68) pints of blood to help replenish blood stocks and support patients requiring lifesaving transfusions. The initiative also served to raise awareness of the importance of regular blood donation and the meaningful impact that every donation can have on saving lives.

Alongside the blood donation drive, Hengyi Industries also organised a Pop-Up Market featuring one (1) local telecommunication provider and seven (7) local food and beverage vendors. The initiative provided local vendors with an opportunity to showcase and promote their products directly to employees, and in return allowing Hengyi Industries and its employees to support local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and encouraging the growth of Brunei Darussalam’s local business community.

The event forms part of Hengyi Cares, Hengyi Industries' corporate social responsibility initiative dedicated to supporting the well-being of local communities through meaningful and sustainable programmes. Through initiatives like these, Hengyi Industries seeks to work hand in hand with its stakeholders to create a lasting social value and contribute towards a healthier, stronger, and more resilient Brunei Darussalam.
