54 pints of blood donated by Hengyi’s staff in Hengyi Industries’ 4th Donation Drive
Pulau Muara Besar, 3 November 2022 – Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd (Hengyi Industries) organised its 4th blood donation drive at the Admin Building, Pulau Muara Besar (PMB), where the staff and management of Hengyi Industries were encouraged to participate and donate blood for a good cause.
This year with the theme “Give Blood, Save Life”, 54 Hengyi’s staff and management spared time to donate blood, around 30 minutes during the event. A total of 54 pints of blood were collected, which will be used to help boost the nation’s blood bank supply.
Under the Hengyi Cares Initiative, the blood donation drive is a part of Hengyi Industries’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) since 2019 to encourage and motivate its staff to come forward and donate blood with the intention to help save lives, as well as to also help spread awareness on the importance and benefits of donating blood. The blood donation drive is also held as part of the company’s 3rd year anniversary celebration for the successful commissioning of Hengyi Industries’ petrochemical and refinery plant.
