Hengyi Hosts First Blood Donation Drive at PMB

Pulau Muara Besar, 25th July 2019. Hengyi Industries Sdn. Bhd organised its first ever blood donation drive in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) at Hengyi Industries Headquarters Office on the 18th, 23rd and 25th July 2019 from 9:30am – 1:30pm.

The three day event saw more than 69 generous donors comprising of Hengyi staff and management joined in the drive and rolled up their sleeves to give blood. The event collected a total of 69 pints of blood, in which one pint can save up to 3 lives.

The event aimed to raise awareness on the importance of donating blood, and to promote the regular and voluntary blood donation, as well as to support the efforts of the nation’s hospital to maintain sufficient blood supply for their patients.

As a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd will continue its mission to raise awareness of the regular need for blood donations.
