Hengyi Industries holds Donation Drive to Help Underprivileged Families and Orphans

Kampung Serasa, 11 April 2023 – Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd (Hengyi) held a donation drive for underprivileged families and orphans of Kampung Serasa. The presentation of donation was held at the house of Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin, the Acting Head Village of Kampung Serasa.

During the donation presentation, Hengyi presented a total monetary donation of BND 7,000 to 8 underprivileged families and 10 orphans. The donation was handed over by Li Peng, Director of General Affairs and Company Secretary, and Alan Goh, Director of Human Resources to the recipients.

Established in 2015, The Donation Drive Campaign is a part of Hengyi’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities under the Hengyi Cares initiative with the purpose to give back to the community and help lighten the burden of the families and orphans in need in preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Through the initiative, Hengyi also aims to instill a culture of giving among its staff, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan.
