Hengyi Industries Hosts Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in Conjunction with Ramadhan

Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, 18 April 2023 – Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd (Hengyi) organised a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony to mark the completion of the recitation of Al-Quran in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan.

The event was graced by the guest of honour, Pengiran Jamra Weira bin Pengiran Haji Petra, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Department of Energy. Also present were Pg Hj Mohamed bin Pg Hj Osman/Othman, the Head Village of Pekan Muara and Pelumpong and Abdul Hamid bin Hj Zainin, the Acting Head Village of Kampung Serasa, as well as officers from Damai Holdings, the Department of Energy and Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam. A total of 27 Hengyi Industries’ staff also attended the event.

The ceremony began with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and the holy verses of Al-Quran led by Hj Mohd Adam bin Hj Rosli. It was then followed with the recitation of Takhtim led by Pg Khairul Alimin bin Pg Hj Osman and Dikir led by Mohd Aminuddin bin Hj Yusof, and the recitation of Doa Khatam Al-Quran and Doa Selamat led by Hj Mohd Adam bin Hj Rosli. The Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony is held with the aim to encourage Hengyi’s staff to
incorporate the recitation the Al-Quran as part of their daily routine and gain the blessings from it, especially during the month of Ramadhan. The company also seeks to strengthen its relationships with the local communities and stakeholders through the event
