When asked about their experience, the students shared:

There are a lot of things that we have learnt about Thermal Power Plant Technology. Some of what we learned can even be applied to everyday life such as cooking, heating, baking, and cooling. It also gives us experience of learning with foreign lecturers and acquiring a new set of language skills. With determination and a boost of confidence, together with colleagues, we will surely achieve more and become qualified engineers.

- Muhammad Faiq bin Shamsul Bahren, 2nd year student taking Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Technology.

Throughout the semesters, I have learned and experienced many new things. If I had to pick a module in which I greatly enjoy myself, it would be Mandarin. Despite the fact that learning a new language can be difficult, I find it very rewarding and I have no doubt that it’ll come in handy in the future, even more so when we work for Hengyi. I hope that as time goes on, I'll be able to learn more from this course and improve as a person, which will lead me to more opportunities in the future.

- Nuryasmin Amirah bte Malik, 2nd year student taking Level 5 Diploma in Chemical Equipment Technology.

Throughout my studies, it has been nothing but a great pleasure to learn new things. The challenges were on a high level, but that does not stop me from wanting to explore more into this course, especially after knowing that I’d be able to apply the knowledge that I’ve learnt here in the future when I’m working at Hengyi Industries.

- Mohammad Kamarul Hakimin Bin Mohd Amin, 2nd year student taking Level 5 Diploma in Power plant and power system technology

As part of the programme, the students are provided with a Conditional Offer of Employment (CoE), where upon successful completion of their studies, they will be given the opportunity to become the future operators and engineers at Hengyi Industries Sdn. Bhd,. We hope to continue to give opportunities to the local talents to reach their full potential and become the nation’s key players in the future.
