Hengyi updates stakeholders on PMB Project Progress

The Empire Hotel & Country Club 25 October 2018. Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd recently held its 12th Stakeholder Engagement at The Empire Hotel & Country Club which was attended by relevant government agencies.

Present at the event were officers from the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Royal Brunei Police Force, Royal Brunei Navy, Darussalam Enterprise, Maritime Port Authority Brunei Darussalam and Brunei Shell Marketing.

The event aims to update the relevant stakeholders with the ongoing progress of Hengyi’s petrochemical plant project at PMB and to keep them informed of Hengyi’s upcoming activities including employment, business and tender opportunities. The stakeholders are given the opportunity to raise any issues, concerns or clarification related to the project.

Furthermore, the event also highlighted ongoing installation activities and contruction works in the PMB project such as the installation of major process equipment and the construction of storage tanks, co-generation unit, single-point mooring and jetties.

The stakeholder engagement presentation was delivered by Michelle Chong, Planning Specialist. The event was successfully concluded with a question and answer session.
