Hengyi’s Second Blood Donation Drive Collects 66 Pints of Blood
13th August 2020 – Hengyi Industries Sendirian Berhad (Hengyi) in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) held a blood donation drive at Hengyi Industries Headquarters Office, Pulau Muara Besar, on the 12th and 13th August 2020 from 11am to 2pm.
More than 60 of Hengyi’s staff and management participated in the blood donation drive during the two days event. A total of 66 pints of blood that were collected will contribute to Blood Banks in the nation’s hospitals.
To ensure the safety of the blood donors, strict precautionary measures as per the Ministry of Health’s guidelines were adhered to during the drive.
The event also marked the second blood donation drive organised by Hengyi as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in raising awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation and how a single donation of blood could save up to three lives.
Hengyi plans to conduct more blood donation drives in the future with hopes that it will also inspire the community to donate blood for a potentially life-saving cause.
